If you want clients booking through your new website on launch day, we need to plan backward from that date. That includes the design and build, plus time for your service details, photography and feedback.
At Jaia Studio, those first conversations often happen while an owner is planning a new service, a rebrand or another location. You don’t need finished website copy or a folder of design ideas to start talking to us.
How long does a branding and website project take?
Our typical project timelines are:
- Visual Branding: two to four weeks, depending on what’s included.
- Full branding and a landing page: four to six weeks.
- Full branding and a website: six to eight weeks from kickoff through final delivery.
These ranges begin at kickoff. The initial conversation, proposal and preparation happen before that. Your proposal confirms the dates based on the work involved and our availability.
You can compare our branding and website packages to see what’s included in each type of project.
New photography, signage and printed materials can affect the schedule too. Tell us about them early so there’s time to plan the photos and have approved artwork ready for your suppliers.

When should you contact Jaia Studio?
Contact us while you’re planning the change, before you announce a launch date. We can help you work out what the project needs to include and whether the timing is realistic.
For example, say you want bookings to open on August 1. An eight-week brand and website project would need to begin around early June. The inquiry, proposal and preparation would happen before that kickoff.
If you only have a target month, that’s enough to start the conversation. You don’t have to settle every detail first.
What happens during the project?
We’ll agree on who’s handling the copy and photography, and which booking tools or launch materials are included, before work begins.
A combined brand and website project usually moves through three stages.
Set the message and plan the site
First, we talk about the business. What’s changing? Which services do you most want people to book? What do clients ask before making an appointment?
If you’re rebranding, we’ll also look at what clients already recognise and what you want to carry forward.
If people keep asking whether a class is suitable for beginners, that answer needs to be easy to find in the class description and booking page.
Develop the identity and design the website
We develop your visual identity and show how it works across the materials in your project. Then we design the website around your services, the information clients need and how they’ll book or contact you.
When you review the work, we’ll explain our recommendations. You can flag service details we’ve missed or wording your clients wouldn’t use.
Build, test and prepare for launch
Once the design and content are approved, we build the website and set up the agreed booking and inquiry tools. We check the forms and links, including where inquiries arrive.
You’ll review the service information and try the site on your phone. Before we wrap up, we’ll show you how to update the parts you’ll manage yourself.
Your eight-week brand and website plan
Here’s one example of how a combined branding and website project could move from kickoff to handoff.
- Weeks 1-2Agree on the message, priority services and website pages.
- Weeks 3-4Review the visual identity and prepare website copy and photography where included.
- Weeks 5-6Build the approved website and connect the booking or inquiry tools.
- Weeks 7-8Make final corrections, test the site and prepare for handoff.
This example depends on receiving information and feedback on the agreed dates.
What will you need to prepare?
Start with accurate service details and any existing photos, logos or brand files. We’ll tell you what else we need and arrange a secure way to share relevant account access.
You’ll also need time to review the work. We guide the design and explain the decisions; you confirm the business details and what clients need to know.
If Friday is your quiet day between appointments, tell us so we can plan review dates around it. When other people need to weigh in, one person should gather their comments and send them together.
If a service changes while we’re working, let us know. We’ll discuss any effect on the copy, booking setup or delivery date before changing the work.
What needs to happen before you announce the launch?
Try the route a client will take from your announcement to the booking page. If you’re promoting a class, its details should be accurate and booking should be open.
If you’ve moved, update your address wherever clients look for it, including your booking system and social profiles.
For a rebrand, tell existing clients what’s changing and what’s staying the same. If their appointment or practitioner hasn’t changed, say so. You can prepare that message while the design work is underway.
